Data Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION
Data analysts are responsible for analyzing data using statistical techniques, implementing and maintaining databases, gathering data from primary and secondary sources, and identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends. Data analysts communicate this information to management and other stakeholders, providing insight which can be used to make business decisions.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer programming, web development, or software engineering, or completion of a college program in computer science or a related field is usually required.

The career path of a Data Analyst typically starts with an Analyst I position (Junior Analyst) and then progresses to Analyst II (Analyst), Senior Analyst, and then Data Scientist or Chief Technology Officer. Data Analysts may also specialize in a particular industry.
